The seven wonders of the web?

I like being picky. I guess I should be gentle on this article, being that it is two years old and from England, but I have to call it as I see it. I love Google, and Ebay is one of the few websites to profitably utilize the internet. But Yahoo? How passe! And Multimap? Who ever heard of it? Same goes for Project Gutenberg. If I've never heard about it, it can't be that famous. Amazon loses money (and its deliveries in the mail). And blogger is fun and cool, but I've never used it before.

I would have to add travelocity.com as a website that makes life easier. For that matter, any product or service search bot. I don't know if they make money, but I save money using them. Also, I have to substitute mapquest for multimap. Maybe its just my ego centric American side speaking.

But politics time.

An acute observation. Objective and informative. True? Hard to say, although the author brings some rational backing to his connection between dispair of Israeli's in the peace process and the success of splinter political groups in the January 28th elections. One should note, however, that these groups have been successful in many elections in the past. Nor does he explain who is voting for the Green Party.

While the author wasn't so off base in his comments, I was left wondering - "What was he smoking?
