Houdini

No, I haven't "poofed." But between moving, working on a new video, and a revised learning schedule, my free time has eroded. There is a lot going on in my head, but precious little time to put it down on paper. Even less to commit it to blog-infamy. But just to keep you along for the ride, a little bit more of why Josh can't be left alone:

Because if we're sitting around talking to a Chassan, I might randomly ask about his "cute married sister."

Because I might go up to somebody with a LiveStrong wristband, and ask when that Lance Armstrong guy will finally lose his battle with cancer. Sorry about your grandparents.

Because I might leave a car that I borrowed parked with the doors unlocked and the keys in the glove compartment for the weekend.

Sheesh. Nobody's perfect.

Comments:
remind me not to loan you my car

who is lance armstrong? jk :)

i'm in agreement with you, josh. its better to laugh rather than feel bad/stressed about life not going "perfect" - i don't remember what mishneh it is, but there was a daf i glanced at which said there is only one day in a wo/man's life when we will not have yezter hara/preoccupations/problems/things we can pray to Hashem about. you've actually just saved my day by reminding me of this. blog when you have time; we'll be waiting!

I always understood why Josh can't be left alone differently, I thought it was a plea for some peace and quiet. When are they going to invent written intonations?

prag - that would be written - why can't they leave me alone?! or why can't they leave josh alone?!

not why can't josh be left alone - i.e. it is dangerous to leave josh alone to his own devices

(smiley inserted here)

I'm totally with MH on this one!

Josh -- You know what I think...enough said!

prag, when i first started reading josh's blog I thought the same thing... then i re-read it and realized that's not what it said at all.

Josh ... are you sure we're not related?

Because that is so stuff I'd do, although I don't drive, and I hope I wouldn't ask a chassan about his "cute married sister."

... but still, I'm convinced we're distant cousins. (I've told you I come from a line of Goldmans? From Lancut in southereastern Poland ...)

And if you're moving to Nu Yawk, there's no excuse ... we are *so* getting together!

You'll be glad you did !

Everybody wants to meet Josh! I'm sooo jealous, because half the people on my blog who think good things about me are married, and the other half or men or think I'm gay. You know I'll never leave you alone Josh, but the two of us together turns it into "Why Josh and Dudie Can't Be Left Alone." No joke.

about his cute MARRIED sister?

no, don't do that! Leave the car unlocked for a week, but don't do that!

You might or you might have enough tact to act 'properly'. Everyone has certain things that they want to do, but don't end up having enough chutzpah to actually do them. Good or bad, you decide.
All the things you mentioned it could depend on the situation.
On a side note, what does it mean "Bloggers I Should Get to Know Better". I would have assumed it would involve making some kind of effort ;)

There's a late(ish) model Acura that was parked across the way from my apartment yesterday, complete with GPS. Funny thing is, after I went to get ice cream with Shmulik and Dudie, we couldn't remember where we left the keys. Thankfully we recalled - it was with the thoughtful homeless man who promised to watch it for us; that is, for you.
